In the eighth episode of What in the World in Travel we speak with Dr. Chris Bottrill, Chairman of the Pacific Asia Travel Association and Director of the Centre for International Experience at Capilano University. He discusses the current challenges and future potential of tourism in the Pacific Asia region as well as the importance of building an international network. He also gives hosts Shaun McGrath and Jennifer Vaughan insights into the key factors that determine whether community based tourism development initiatives fail or succeed.
